BBNaija’s Alex laments - Gaining my freedom was a struggle, I still don’t have it totally

Many individuals aspire to be celebrities but when they finally reach that level of popularity, they discover that it is not always a bed of roses.

Some people have gained prominence after participating in popular reality TV show, Big Brother Nigeria, and they have been able to maintain it till now. Individuals who were normally regarded as regular people suddenly attained a level of importance and were viewed by fans as being larger than life. However some of them have tried to maintain normalcy as they are often conscious of their humble beginnings.

 Former BBNaija housemate, Alex, recently took to social media to reveal that she made a vow not to be carried away by the paparazzi and to remain true to herself., the star explained that she once decided to rebel against her stylists after they dressed her up for an outing. She revealed that she went back inside and wore something more comfortable and she was glad to take a vow to always be herself. 

Excerpts from her post reads: “Gaining my freedom was a struggle. I still don’t have it totally from the world but I thank God for sending people that are always ready to let me be Alex unusual and not Alex the celebrity. Behind all you see on the gram is a lot of scattered bits put together. Don’t ever be deceived. It’s not a bed of roses but the unusual girl won’t change till a day after forever . I love you all for loving me for me. I’ll always be the better version of the girl you met from day one. I pledge once again.”
